6 years old and above (elementary school students only if accompanied by parents). People with no rafting experience are welcome. People in good health.

We will hold it even in rainy weather. However, it may be canceled if there is a risk of river water rise and dam release due to typhoon or heavy rain.
※ In the case of cancellation: we base this decision on the weather forecast and the condition of the river, and we will make an effort to contact you by 7pm the day before the tour. However, tours can be canceled at short notice for reasons of safety or other natural conditions. If a tour is canceled due to weather conditions, the cost is refunded or you can change your reservation to another day.

Canyoning is an activity that goes down a valley with flow of river while enjoying nature.
It is a sport originating in France playing in a valley wearing a wetsuit, and has long been popular in Europe. You can slide on natural water sliders that the power of water creates, slide and jump into big natural pools, swim, and use techniques such as shower climbing as you make your way to the goal. It is a river sport where you can taste a sense of thrill and unity with nature.

Course Introduction

HAPPY – Happy Canyoning
This course is set in a beautiful sliding floor made of rock. It is an adventure course surrounded by beauty, in which we will enjoy sliding, flowing and swimming! We will guide you to the most popular river expedition. Of the 4 canyoning courses offered at NAOC, elementary school students can only participate in this one.
* Please note that Happy tour is done with family support accompanying elementary school students. The course distance is set shorter than the course distance for adults.

An Exclusive day full of adventure

Enjoy an outdoor day at NAOC! How about a day full of excitement and adventure? You can enjoy rafting and canyoning for half a day each.
Canyoning is an activity full of attractions like jumping, climbing, swimming and sliding in a valley with a flow of river. Rafting is a boating activity where you can take a splash and ride over the white waves. It is a fun and popular activity that will not let you down!
During lunch break, take a nap in a hammock and enjoy a relaxing time as well.

SUP – in Kinugawa –

SUP is an acronym for Stand Up Paddle surfing. Also known as paddle-boarding, it is an activity where you stand on a large surfboard and paddle yourself.

It is an activity that started as a leg training for riding big waves in Hawaii. It is characterized by stability and easy propulsion.

NAOC’s SUP will guide you to the finest premium space of the Kinugawa gorge.

The area to be used has a calm flow, so even first-timers can participate with peace of mind.

Practice at the starting point. Once you get used to how to row and how to play, continue cruising further. The feeling of controlling the board by manipulating the paddle with your own power, and the feeling of letting yourself go with the flow and the wind is exceptional!

Sometimes I stop by the beach, swim, and jump off the rocks. Fully enjoy the freedom of SUP + α and a highly satisfying time.
